Since November 12, 2024, any individual registered in the Trade and Companies Register (“RCS“) as a representative (director, manager, partner, permanent representative, etc.) of a company must provide his Matricule.

The Matricule registered with the RCS is not disclosed to third parties, does not appear on documents issued by the RCS, nor on pre-filled requisition forms, and is not accessible on the dedicated RCS portal.

For individuals who already have a Matricule, it must be provided to the RCS.

For individuals who do not yet have a Matricule, the Luxembourg Business Register will create one based on the submission of a valid identity document and a proof of private residential address.

As of June 1, 2025, we inform you that the registration of the Matricule with the RCS will become chargeable.

Starting from October 1, 2025, registration will become mandatory. Consequently, filings for companies in which all related individuals have not registered their Matricule with the RCS will be blocked until the situation is regularized.
