History of In Extenso Belux

Guided by unique entrepreneurial trajectories, the stories of VO Consulting and ACF were interwoven with success before coming together within the In Extenso group, one of France's leading accountancy firms.

VO Consulting

VO Consulting Lux, a public limited company incorporated under Luxembourg law, was founded on 22 October 1997. To cope with growth and ever-increasing demand, a Belgian company (VO Consulting SRL) was set up on 5 February 2001. The year 2007 marked a crucial step with the integration of two additional partners. The strategic shift towards human resources management took place in 2008 with the creation of a department dedicated to recruitment and personnel management. In January 2023, VO Consulting reached a new milestone, accelerating its development by joining the In Extenso Group.

ACF Group

ACF, for its part, has been making history since it was founded in 1990 under the name Fiduciaire Internationale (ACF Fiduciaire Luxembourg). Over the years, it has consolidated its footprint with the creation of ACF Audit Belgium (formerly MKS) in 1995 and Fiduciaire de l’Ardenne (ACF Fiduciaire Bastogne) in 1999. ACF Group was founded in 2008, followed by the strategic acquisitions of the Liège office in 2015 and the Marche office in 2016. In July 2023, ACF Group will also join the In Extenso group.

The convergence of these two distinct entities creates a harmonious union, combining two rich and complementary business histories. This alliance further strengthens the company’s position in the cross-border accountancy landscape, offering our clients broader expertise and a diversified range of services.

Creation of Fiduciaire Internationale

Founded in 1990 as a SARL (limited liability company), the company incorporated under Luxembourg law as Fiduciaire Internationale ‘ACF Fiduciaire Luxembourg’ became a S.A. in 2003.
Formerly a member of the Institut des Réviseurs d'Entreprise luxembourgeois (IRE) and the Ordre d'Experts Comptables luxembourgeois (OEC), ‘ACF Fiduciaire Luxembourg S.A.’ now provides chartered accountancy, tax, advisory and accounting services in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Creation of ACF Audit Belgium

Founded in 1995 under the name MKS, In Extenso Audit Bastogne (ACF Audit Belgium) is a member of the Institut des Réviseurs d'Entreprise and specialises in statutory auditing.

Its main sectors of activity are industrial and commercial companies, the public sector of intermunicipal companies and the hospital sector.

Creation of VO Consulting Lux

On 22 October 1997, Eric Jolas and Vincent Olimar (founding partners, both chartered accountants) set up VO Consulting Lux, a limited company under Luxembourg law.

Creation of Fiduciaire de l'Ardenne

Founded in 1999 under the name Fiduciaire de l'Ardenne, In Extenso Basogne (ACF Fiduciaire Bastogne ) is a member of the ITAA (Institute for Tax Advisors & Accountants).
The company's main activity is bookkeeping, providing advice and drawing up tax returns for both SMEs and the self-employed.

ACF Fiduciaire Bastogne is also an accredited provider of business creation vouchers.

Creation of VO Consulting SRL

A Belgian company (V.O. Consulting SRL) was incorporated on 5 February 2001. This diversification of activities enables V.O. Consulting to master the technical aspects specific to the two border countries

VO Consulting welcomes 2 new partners

Since the end of 2007, the V.O. Consulting team has included two additional partners, Stéphanie Thiry (legal expert) and Cédric Rensonnet (chartered accountant).

Foundation of ACF Group

Founded in 2008, the ACF Group brings together several entities that work hand in hand to offer complementary services to their customers. The aim was to pool the expertise of each team to offer a wide range of quality services to all their customers, whether Belgian or Luxembourgish. These entities were spread across both Belgium and Luxembourg.

Creation of an HR department for VO Consulting

The Human Resources department was set up to help companies structure and effectively manage their human capital. It offers a range of key services, from recruitment to the setting up of staff delegations, including the drafting of internal regulations, the management of training co-financing dossiers, and the development of strategic HR policies (organization charts, job descriptions, salary policy). If required, we also offer an interim HR management service to compensate for the absence or departure of an in-house HR manager.

New ACF Group branch in Liège

To expand its activities in the Liège region, the ACF Group took over Cabinet Comptable Dumont & Fils in 2015.

New ACF Group branch in Marche-en-Famenne

Expansion continued in 2016 with the takeover of the CFC office in Marche-en-Famenne.

VO Consulting joins the In Extenso group

In Extenso goes international with the acquisition of VO Consulting based in Luxembourg and Belgium. VO Consulting is now known as In Extenso Belux, with new ambitions.

ACF Group joins the In Extenso group

ACF Group, a leading Belgian-Luxembourg firm of chartered accountants and auditors, joins In Extenso Belux.
Thanks to this operation, In Extenso Belux has doubled its workforce to more than 130 people, and expanded its range of services and scope of action, with the declared aim of becoming the leader in business support in Wallonia and Luxembourg.
